Celebrate the Holidays and “Special Stories” on Brattle Street

Longfellow House–Washington’s Headquarters National Historic Site, in collaboration with the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy and the Friends of the Longfellow House–Washington’s Headquarters, is inviting the community to a festive, free Holiday Open House event. The event, taking place on Brattle Street, will be held on Friday, December 12, from 1:00 to 8:00 PM.

The Holiday Open House aims to celebrate the holiday season and share “Special Stories” with attendees. The event is free of charge, offering an opportunity for community members to come together during the festive season. The organizers promise a day of entertainment, education, and holiday cheer.

The Longfellow House–Washington’s Headquarters National Historic Site is a significant location, having served as the headquarters of General George Washington during the Siege of Boston, July 1775 – April 1776. It is also known as the home of celebrated poet Henry W. Longfellow, one of the most widely known and best-loved American poets of the 19th century.
