The National Park Service has announced the reopening of the Emerald Pools Bridge in Zion National Park after a two-year reconstruction project. The bridge, which connects Zion Lodge (Shuttle Stop #5) to the Emerald Pools Trail system, is now accessible to visitors once again.
The reconstruction project involved extensive planning, design, and construction stages. The goal was to ensure the bridge was restored to a condition that would allow safe passage for visitors while preserving the natural beauty of the area.
With the reopening of the Emerald Pools Bridge, visitors to Zion National Park now have direct access to the Emerald Pools Trail system from Zion Lodge. This development is expected to enhance the experience of park visitors by providing improved access to one of the park’s most popular attractions.
