Green River Ferry Road South will temporarily close for transport of ferry vessel

The National Park Service has announced a temporary road closure at Mammoth Cave National Park. Specifically, Green River Ferry Road South will be closed from its intersection with Mammoth Cave Parkway to the Green River Ferry parking area. The closure is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, May 6, and will last from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. CDT.

The temporary closure is due to the transport of a ferry vessel. The National Park Service has not provided further details on the nature of the transportation or the vessel in question. Visitors planning to use this road are advised to make alternative arrangements during the stated hours.
