Around 25,200 visitors to the park spent an estimated $1.1 million in communities close to the park. This spending has had a substantial impact on the local economy and job market.
The economic influence of the park extends beyond the park’s boundaries, supporting 21 jobs in the local area. The influx of visitors and their spending in nearby communities has created a positive ripple effect, providing employment opportunities and boosting the local economy.
The report concludes that the combined economic benefit of visitor spending and job creation amounted to $2.6 million for the local economy. This demonstrates the significant role that Adams National Historical Park plays in supporting the surrounding communities economically.
