Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve Temporarily Closes Visitor Center and Trails for Improvements

Starting from February 2, 2026, the Barataria Preserve, part of the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve, will temporarily close some of its areas for construction projects. This closure will include the visitor center and most of the trails within the preserve.
