Concessioner Selected to Provide Backcountry Lodging in Glacier National Park

The National Park Service has announced the selection of Belton Chalets, Inc. as the new concessioner to provide backcountry lodging, food and beverage, and other services at Glacier National Park. The Montana-based company will operate under concession contract CC-GLAC004-26. This decision comes as part of the National Park Service’s ongoing efforts to enhance visitor experiences and amenities at the park.

The contract with Belton Chalets, Inc. will commence on January 1, 2026. The agreement spans a term of 10 years, during which the company will be responsible for ensuring high-quality services and facilities for park visitors. It’s expected that this new partnership will contribute to the preservation of the park’s natural beauty while providing improved services to visitors.

Glacier National Park, located in Montana, is one of the most visited national parks in the United States. With this new contract, the National Park Service aims to further improve the visitor experience by offering enhanced lodging and food services in the park’s backcountry.
