Cape Hatteras National Seashore postpones co-hosted public workshop on coyotes

Cape Hatteras National Seashore, in conjunction with Hyde County, has announced the postponement of its public workshop on coyotes. The workshop, which was originally scheduled for Wednesday, August 27, will be rescheduled for a future date. The reason for the postponement has not been specified.

The workshop was intended to address the growing coyote population in the Cape Hatteras National Seashore area. It was designed to be a platform for the public to learn more about the coyotes, their behavior, and how they interact with the local ecosystem. The workshop was also expected to discuss potential strategies for managing the coyote population in the area.
