Effective immediately, hikers can now access the South Kaibab Trail from the South Kaibab Trailhead to Tipoff, the Tonto Trail from Tipoff to Havasupai Gardens, and the Bright Angel Trail from the Bright Angel Trailhead to Pipe Creek Resthouse. These trails are some of the most popular among visitors to the park, offering stunning views of the Grand Canyon’s unique geological features.
The decision to reopen the trails comes after significant improvements in air quality in the inner canyon over the past week. The park continues to prioritize the safety of visitors and will keep the public updated on any changes to trail accessibility. For more information, visit the Grand Canyon National Park website.
