Visitors planning to visit Shenandoah National Park will need to ensure they have access to a suitable form of electronic payment. This could be a mobile payment app or a credit or debit card. It’s important to note that this change applies to all fees within the park, including entrance fees, campground fees, and permitting fees.

In addition to accepting electronic payments at the park, Shenandoah National Park has also made it possible for visitors to pay their fees in advance through the www.recreation.gov website. This advance payment option provides an additional level of convenience for visitors, allowing them to plan and pay for their trip in one go.
