On the morning of Tuesday, May 13, staff at Grand Teton National Park made a grim discovery. Two yearling grizzly bears were found dead in a restricted area south of Colter Bay. This unfortunate event has sparked an investigation by the park’s authorities.
The area where the carcasses were found remains closed to the public. The closure is part of the park’s ongoing efforts to protect wildlife and their habitats, as well as to ensure the safety of visitors. It is not yet clear how the bears died, and park officials have not released any additional information at this time.
