Grizzly bear struck by vehicle and killed in Grand Teton National Park

A grizzly bear was found dead in Grand Teton National Park on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, according to a news release from the National Park Service. The bear was discovered along Highway 26, located within the park and east of the Buffalo Fork River. It was determined that the bear had been struck by a vehicle.
