Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks have announced a business opportunity for the operation of pack station, guided trail rides, and other related services. The new concessioner will be based at Cedar Grove Pack Station and Grant Grove Stables within the park boundaries. The selected business will be expected to provide these services over a term of 10 years.
The current contract, which has been in operation since January 1, 2019, is set to conclude on December 31, 2026. The new contract will commence immediately after the conclusion of the existing one. The National Parks Service is seeking a concessioner who will be able to provide the same services as those currently offered under the existing contract.
