Two hikers were injured in a bear encounter at Kenai Fjords National Park on the evening of Wednesday, September 24, 2025. The incident occurred on the Exit Glacier trail system, a popular hiking route within the park. The National Park Service (NPS) has not released the identities of the individuals involved, but confirmed that both sustained injuries from the encounter.
