Grand Canyon National Park has announced a partial reopening of certain areas of the North Rim on October 1, 2025. This comes after the areas were closed due to the Dragon Bravo Fire. The reopening will allow the public to regain access to these beautiful and historically significant parts of the park.
The areas that will be reopened include Highway 67 up to the W1 road, approximately at mile marker 11, and the Cape Royal Road. These routes will provide access to Point Imperial and Cape Royal, two popular and scenic locations within the park. Additionally, Fire Point and Swamp Ridge, other notable areas within the park, will also be reopened.
