Public Invited to Attend the 24th Memorial Observance

The Flight 93 National Memorial will host its 24th memorial observance on Thursday, September 11, 2025, to honor the 40 passengers and crew members who lost their lives. The public is invited to join the 30-minute Moment of Remembrance, which is set to begin at 9:45 a.m. The ceremony will include the reading of the names of those who perished and a moment of silence to remember their sacrifice.

In addition to the reading of names and moment of silence, a wreath-laying and gate-closing ceremony will be held near the Wall of Names on the Memorial Plaza. This solemn tradition is a significant part of the memorial observance, paying tribute to those who lost their lives on Flight 93.

The Flight 93 National Memorial is a space dedicated to preserving the memory of the passengers and crew members who bravely fought against the hijackers on September 11, 2001.
