“Equality Week” marks a significant collaboration between the two parks, each dedicated to preserving the history and promoting the understanding of significant women’s rights figures and events. The Women’s Rights National Historical Park is located in Seneca Falls and Waterloo, New York, and commemorates the first Women’s Rights Convention held in 1848. The Harriet Tubman National Historical Park in Auburn, New York, preserves the home and tells the story of the famous Underground Railroad conductor.
The event aims to promote equality and foster a deeper understanding of women’s rights history. More details about the event will be available on the official National Park Service website.
