Feeding wildlife within the park is not only against the law, but it also poses a significant risk to the safety of individuals, other visitors, and the bears themselves. The park service is keen to stress the importance of maintaining a safe distance from these wild creatures to ensure the wellbeing of all involved.

In an effort to uphold the safety and natural behavior of the park’s wildlife, visitors are strongly encouraged to observe and respect the regulations set in place. This includes refraining from feeding or approaching the black bears, as well as any other wildlife species within the park.
