Capitol Reef National Park has announced the ‘Reef Ride’ bike event, scheduled for the mornings of September 27th and 28th. The event is being held to celebrate the recent repaving of the Scenic Drive and in honor of National Public Lands Day.
During the ‘Reef Ride’ event, the Scenic Drive will be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic, creating a unique opportunity for cyclists, hikers, and runners to enjoy the route. The park is welcoming all classes of e-bikes, from Class 1 to 3, to participate in the event.
The ‘Reef Ride’ bike days are a celebration of outdoor recreation and the newly improved infrastructure of the park. The event encourages the public to engage with and appreciate the natural beauty of Capitol Reef National Park.
