Cape Hatteras National Seashore and the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission co-host public workshop on coyotes

Cape Hatteras National Seashore, in collaboration with the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission, will be hosting a public workshop dedicated to the study of coyotes. The workshop will focus on the behavior and biology of this North American native canine species. The event is intended to inform and educate the public about coyotes, their habits, and their role in the ecosystem.

The workshop is scheduled to take place on Ocracoke Island from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27. The venue for the event is the Ocracoke Community Center. The workshop is open to the public, and all interested individuals are encouraged to attend to learn more about this unique animal species.

This collaborative event between Cape Hatteras National Seashore and the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission underscores their commitment to wildlife education and conservation.
