Cattail Removal to Continue in Voyageurs National Park

Voyageurs National Park has announced that efforts to remove invasive hybrid cattail in wetlands within the park will continue from July to October 2025. The park staff, along with contracted workers, will be carrying out the removal work. The project is part of a larger initiative to protect the park’s natural ecosystem from invasive species.
