June 21, 2025by Ranger Tom0
Glacier National Park in Montana has announced a temporary road closure of the alpine sections of the Going-to-the-Sun Road due to adverse weather conditions. The decision to close the road is based on weather forecasts that suggest a significant risk to the safety of visitors and park staff. The National Park Service is committed to ensuring the safety of all park visitors and will continue to monitor the weather conditions closely.

Visitors planning trips to Glacier National Park during this time are advised to check the park’s official website for updates on the road closure. The National Park Service regrets any inconvenience this may cause but stresses that the closure is necessary to ensure the safety of all visitors and staff.
