The Park Service has recommended that boaters stay towards the east wall of the canyon during their journey. This guidance is intended to ensure the safety of all visitors and prevent any potential interaction with fire response activities.

In addition to this, the National Park Service has also issued a warning to avoid Oak Bay. This area is particularly impacted by the fire response operations and could pose a significant risk to visitors. The Service continues to monitor the situation and will provide updates as necessary.
