Old Fall River Road Inside Rocky Mountain National Park is Closed to All Uses Tuesdays Through Fridays During Daytime for Spring Opening Road Maintenance

Old Fall River Road, located on the east side of Rocky Mountain National Park, is temporarily closing for springtime road maintenance and snowplowing operations. The closure, which applies to all users including pedestrians, dog walkers, and cyclists, will be in effect from Tuesdays to Fridays, between the hours of 6 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

The road maintenance is a necessary part of ensuring the longevity and safety of the road. The closure will allow crews to efficiently and safely perform the required maintenance and snowplowing operations. This is a routine procedure, undertaken periodically to maintain the park’s infrastructure.
