The Star Party is a collaborative effort, sponsored by the National Park Service, the Grand Canyon Conservancy, the Tucson Amateur Astronomy Association (South Rim), and the Saguaro Astronomy Club of Phoenix (North Rim). These organizations come together to provide an event that promotes the appreciation and understanding of our night sky.

For a full week, visitors will have the opportunity to gaze at the stars from one of the country’s most spectacular natural settings. The event is not only a celebration of the celestial beauty above but also an endeavor to raise awareness about the importance of preserving our dark skies. For more information about the event, visit the National Park Service’s website.
