The permits are available through the park’s official website. This move to online processing is part of the National Park Service’s efforts to enhance accessibility and efficiency of services for park visitors. The ORV permits allow for the operation of off-road vehicles within designated areas of the park, in accordance with park regulations.

This initiative is in line with the park’s commitment to preserving the natural resources while providing opportunities for recreation. Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve encourages ORV users to apply for their permits online to expedite the process and ensure they are following all park rules and regulations.
