Help Build the Field of Honor at Fort Scott National Historic Site

Fort Scott National Historic Site has issued an open invitation to the public to participate in the creation of the “Symbols of Sacrifice” Field of Honor. This event is scheduled for Friday morning, May 23, 2025. The park is encouraging individuals and groups to be part of this significant occasion, which will involve placing flags in the Field of Honor.

Participants are requested to arrive at 8:30 a.m. and stay as long as they can to assist in this patriotic endeavor. The event is not only a chance to contribute to a historic site but also an opportunity to honor the sacrifices made by countless individuals throughout history.
