During this period, all public traffic will be prohibited from using the closed sections of Brotherton Road. This includes motorists, equestrians, pedestrians, and bicyclists. The ban is in place to ensure the safety of the public and the workers during the construction period.

The National Park Service has not provided details about the nature of the construction or why it necessitates such a long closure. Visitors to the Chickamauga Battlefield are advised to seek alternative routes and stay updated by visiting the park’s official website.
